Southend – Outclassed by a performing Bear

With eight stunning air-conditioned suites and parking for nearly 200 cars, Saxon Hall provided the perfect venue for the Burnley & Pendle District 1759 Demonstration team performance at Southend. The date was 4th July 2014 and weeks of preparation had already taken place to get to this point.

4th July Southend performance almost upon us

Its been a bit of a slog since we all decided to perform the 1759 ritual for a lodge down in Southend. The drive itself in the minibus will be approx 6 hours, which means an early 6:30 am start from Burnley Masonic Hall. Hopefully the traffic should be quiet at that time.

Performance at Colne Masonic Hall – Postponed

Postponed due to circumstances beyond our control.

Sorry to announce that the imminent 1759 performance at Colne Masonic Hall is to be postponed. They will however be a performance in the building but later in the year

Formby Lodge offer up candidate for 1759 Performance

Southport is the furthest the 1759 Demonstration team have traveled to date to deliver a performance of antient 18th Century masonic ritual. But in reality it was a breeze. We all came by minibus with plenty of time to spare and we were received into Southport Masonic Lodge like conquering heroes.

Next Performance 11th March 2014 – Southport

The next performance of the 1759 Demonstration Team will be at Formby Lodge 5659 in Southport Masonic Hall. Practices are well underway and the team are looking forward to an evening out by the seaside. Numbers are limited to 90 masons on the night and booking is required.
